Yesterday, we went to our grandfather's orchard in Kahang. My father has to take care of it because elephants appear. We reach there at about six o'clock. Then, we started to clean up a place at the end of the orchard, moved away the oil palm trees which has been spoiled by the elephants. It is very quiet, no sound at all if you do not move, you can even hear your own heart palpitating, except the singing of the crickets. Then, it got darker at about half past seven, we lighted up some candles at the place.

It was so scary, because a deep jungle was just in front of us, all trees, all black. We were afraid, because the place we stood is the place where the elephants appear that day. The elephants usually come out at night. We brought five or six flashlights because you can't even see your own fingers if you do not switch on the flashlight. My sister and I keep watching at the trees in the jungle ith the flashlights, I was so scared to see eyes in the jungle.

Of course , we brought fireworks to frightened those animals away! We parked our car there, and switched off the engine. We have to listen to all the sounds to be aware of the elephants. If there are sound of cracking woods , or if we see leaves or branches moving, we have to move quickly but calmly into the car.

Wow, a scary adventure. Although I did not see elephants ( only its shit ) but it's still a very scary experience!!!
